Bret Stateham is a Microsoft Developer Evangelist focusing on the Azure family of products, services, and technologies, and he has worked with Microsoft technologies for more than 20 years. Bret spent a number of years on the admin side, managing servers, networks, and users, but he has been a developer all along, writing code for fun, utility, and profit.

For the past 10 years, Bret has been the owner of Net Connex, a Microsoft Partner that primarily provides training for SQL Server and .NET development. Although he’s been focused on training, Bret has always kept his hands in the code with numerous development contracts. He has also played an active role in the SoCal development community, helping to organize the SoCal and LA Code Camps, multiple SQL Saturday events, and presenting at user groups and various regional events. Christopher Harrison is a self-proclaimed geek with a passion for development and educating others. He got his first introduction to technology when his father brought home a VIC-20, graduated to a Commodore 64, and kept growing from there. Christopher parlayed that into a long career as a Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT), with a focus on .NET development, SharePoint, and SQL Server. When offered the opportunity to become a Content Developer at Microsoft, he just couldn't resist and he made the jump.
