Jerry has been developing and designing on the Microsoft platform for over 15 years. He speaks at corporate events, universities, and a variety of user groups focused on Kinect, XAML, Windows Phone, and Windows 8. Most of Jerry’s days are spent teaching his three daughters Star Trek character backstories and episode plots.
Unni Ravindranathan | Microsoft Lead Program Manager
As a Lead Program Manager in Visual Studio, Unni Ravindranathan is responsible for building developer and designer tools used to build 5-star XAML apps for Windows and Windows Phone. Since joining Microsoft as an Intern in the summer of 2003, Unni has worked on various XAML platforms (WPF, Silverlight, Windows Phone, and now Windows Store) playing a key role in influencing the design and strategic direction of these platforms. Unni has shipped multiple versions of Visual Studio and Blend - a product he helped drive from incubation to delivering multiple versions on a yearly cadence. He has delivered several innovations in tooling that have significantly improved developer productivity and the end user experience of apps in a diverse set of areas such as the visual design surface, data design, interactivity, and application diagnostics. Unni holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from Virginia Tech and likes cooking and traveling around the world in this spare time.
