See some of the mistakes he's made that have cost him money and some of the optimizations he's put in place that have added up to big savings. Scott Guthrie is Microsoft Corporate Vice President, Windows Azure, he is one of the Program Managers who created Active Server Pages (which became ASP.NET), and he ran the Internet Information Services (IIS) team. Follow Scott’s blog.
Andrew Edwards | Microsoft Principal SDE
Andrew Edwards is a Principal SDE on the Windows Azure Storage team. He is responsible for driving broad changes into the Windows Azure Storage system to improve performance, maintain reliability, and enable new features. Andrew has worked on Windows Azure for the last six years and has worked at Microsoft since 1997.
Jai Haridas | Microsoft Principal Development Manager
Jai Haridas is a Principal Development Manager on the Windows Azure Storage team. He is responsible for Windows Azure Import/Export service, storage client libraries, front-end interfaces, and overall health of the storage system. During the past eight years at Microsoft, Jai has been involved in developing both Windows Live Storage and the Azure Storage systems. He has worked in software development for more than 18 years, with experience in SQL and NO-SQL storage systems, and has published papers on topics such as query optimization and highly available cloud storage services.
