​Sanjay Soni | Microsoft Senior Technical Product Marketing Manager

Sanjay Soni is a Senior Technical Product Marketing Manager on the SQL Server Business Intelligence (BI) and Data Warehousing Marketing team at Microsoft. His previous Microsoft roles include Business Intelligence Evangelist, responsible for enabling self-service BI to more than 40,000 users at Microsoft. Sanjay is known for his passion and enthusiasm and for driving structure and delivering results for BI and data warehouse customers for 15 years.

Sanjay is a Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDBA) and a Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS), and he specializes in BI using Microsoft technologies, including Power BI, Analysis Services, Reporting Services, and SharePoint BI. Sanjay has authored and presented a variety of papers and sessions at various conferences, including Tech-Ed, BI Conference, PASS, SQL Connections, SharePoint Conference, and TDWI. Many of his papers have been published in SQL Server magazine and on various websites, including and TechNet. In addition to his work internal to Microsoft, Sanjay presents regularly to customer organizations through Executive Briefings and direct engagements on the topics of delivering BI to the masses.

Sandy Rivas | Microsoft Program Manager | @SandyRivas
Sandy Rivas is a Program Manager for Power BI at Microsoft. As 17-year veteran with Microsoft, Sandy has helped to ship six versions of Office, working closely with a wide variety of Office products, such as Access, Excel, and SharePoint. In Power BI, she created the product's industry sample dashboards and reports. She is currently working on the customer success team and is active in evangelizing and educating customers in using Power BI with their data.

Sandy's real-world use of Power BI with her brother's business has given her a keen insight to the practical uses and value of self-service BI. She has a passion for empowering customers to master their data through self-service business intelligence and data visualization, resulting in better business decisions. Her practical experience and enthusiasm for the power, impact, and fun of Power BI is contagious!
